A California mother of two died one day after undergoing extensive cosmetic surgery in Miami.
Delma Pineda, 44, of San Francisco, flew to Miami, along with her four-year-old son, to have a number of cosmetic procedures performed on March 5, reported el Nuevo Herald.
Following a one-day surgery during which she received liposuction, a tummy tuck and a breast lift and augmentation, she was in excruciating pain, Cindy Barahona, a friend with whom Pineda was staying, told the newspaper.
Pineda collapsed at 4am and died 12 hours later at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Family members say that Pineda had no underlying medical conditions and described her to the Herald as 'healthy as a horse'.
Her family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for burial costs as well as a potential legal battle.
So far, more than $15,400 has been raised out of an initial $15,000 goal.
CG Cosmetic Surgery released a statement on Wednesday, that read in part: 'It is our preliminary understanding that the events giving rise to this incident are unrelated to CG Cosmetic's services.
'We are closely monitoring this case and will facilitate any and all investigation into the cause of this incident.'
